Footnote #: 296
Refers to Dialogue: “The trial lasted 3, perhaps into the 4th”
Time: 01:10:32
Truth Value:

Brock seems to be incorrect about the number of days; sources we checked (including his own book) indicate this trial went on for about 10 days.

  1. Pope Brock says:

Seeing myself looking poleaxed beside a yellow bar sent me back to nail down the exact length of the trial. It opened on March 22, the verdict came in on March 28, and it was reported nationally on March 29. That means, allowing for Sunday off, that the trial lasted a maximum of six days.
